About Jemtlandica

We are specialised in arrangements for groups, from about 4-7 persons up to 40-50. Our business concept is based upon an idea, where we wish to offer our guests an experience of the ”real” Sweden, a possibility to meet Swedish people and see typical Swedish life and customs.
To make the experience complete, we also try to serve a typical Swedish meal during the stay. It is often fish or some game dishes, since hunting and fishing still are very typical occupations for the people living here.

We will also present some local handicraft and offer a possibility for our guests to visit different craftsmen and watch them creating their products.

Since we personally know most companies and the people working there, we are able to guarantee a very high quality and a high level of hospitality.
We are proud to say that our network in Scandinavia is large.

However, you are most welcome to make your own suggestions, we will arrange your trip accordingly. If you, by chance, should find that there is some activity missing, that you really feel a wish to try, just tell us and we will try to find a suitable business for your visit! In most cases, we can find what you are searching for, just give us some time!

Kristina Öhrling-Eising : Market manager

Kristina lives just a little bit souths from Östersund with the wilderness just outside the window! Cranes, roe deer, elks and brown bear – here it is possible to meet almost every animal in the Swedish fauna. She enjoys spending a couple of hours every day walking or skiing in the forest – together with the dogs.

Eva Järvholm : Market manager

Eva lives in a little village about 25 kilometres north from the city of Östersund. One of the largest Swedish rivers, Indalsälven, passes by and if you have a taste for flowers or like to fish – visit this place!
Rural development, scouting, local history, cookery are some of her interests.
