Today 5th of October. When a bit dark in the morning 1 Elk eating, maybe a bull.
Then when lighter in the morning 4 Elks passed about 100 meters from our house. Saw them from the kitchen window.

Then of course roedeers also during the day.

I can see a lot of Elk traces on the field and in the forest. Here we have lots of Elks.

I walk with our dogs everyday and often see Elks!

Here we also have Capercaille ind the forest and when it fly it is a loud sound.

For several days we have had really warm, +20C-+26C.

Here it is really green and lots of flowers during summer.
All birds have babybirds. Elk and roedeer too, however when it is warm they are deep in the forest.

We have had cold for some weeks. However really beautiful!
The days now are really short. It is light only about 4 hours. We are used to be outside when it is dark. However when the moon is full - it is like a lamp. There are even shadow when you are out.

Today we have -8C this morning and the sun will go up and it is all clear. The mountains are white with snow and here we expect snow later this week.

Now it is time to contact us for requests for the winter!

During the night a young fox is outside, often on our terrace and outside our door. I have seen him or her. The fox is also draging a blanket that our dogs are lying on when they are out.
Some playing things our dogs had, the fox has taking them.

This morning when our dogs had eating- 2 of them went out and were a bit further down on the field, then when the 3rd dog went our the fox was just outside!
Race away after but when calling the dog he came back. The fox is certainly interested in the dogs and their things!

Now all of you it is time to book winter tours!

Today with snow in the air we all long for snowmobile tours, skiing, ice-fishing. Here during winter dogsleds passes. Since we have 3 dogs, golden retrievers, I call them first when I am go skiing (cross-country) with the dogs. It is not nice meeting them in the forest.

This morning it was cold, -10C! We have some snow and now white frost too. I see Elks almost everyday. Now I feed the birds. Here we have a lot of bullfinches, great tit,willow tit, woodpecker also green woodpecker, nuthatch.

This morning 3 Elks was outside! We expect some snow during the the night.

Today there was some snow on the ground! Soon the winter is here.
